
Counselling maybe accessed through school. Local authority or organisational referral, or self-referral where appropriate. All work is delivered within confidential, professionally governed therapeutic framework, with safeguarding responsibilities upheld in line with statutory guidance.
The approach is integrative, and relational, and creative in nature, shaped by professional training, ongoing CPD, lived experience and regular clinical supervision. Therapeutic work is paced, thoughtful and responsive to the needs of each individual. Where appropriate, work may take place alongside education professionals and care support professionals, families and wider systems, always within clear therapeutic boundaries and with the individual’s safety and wellbeing at the centre.
The work is underpinned by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical framework and supported through regular clinical supervision. Confidentiality, safeguarding responsibilities and appropriate record keeping are integral to practice and managed in line with professional, statutory and organisational standards.
Inclusive support for settings experiencing ongoing behavioural challenges, emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), and increasing staff fatigue. Rather than focusing on behaviour in isolation, we support settings to consider how trauma, neurodiversity, environment and adult responses interact, and how safety, belonging and engagement can be restored through thoughtful, consistent practice.
